The design of the Health Bay scanner is an homage to Max the robot from Flight of the Navigator, a kids sci-fi movie my family was obsessed with. We’d recreate scenes of the spaceship in our living room with a tilting chair, an adjustable luxo-style desk lamp, and our silly imaginations!
